Research community

The International Building Performance Simulation Association (IBPSA) is our number 1 research community. Our team attends its bi-annual international conferences and contributes through many conference papers and workshops. Besides networking and opening up wide doors for collaboration, I learned two important things:

1. How to make sure that my research is novel and contributes to science.
2. How to increase the rigor in my research.

IBPSA is very serious, with a Q1 journal and a network of rigorous scientists and scholars worldwide.

The community covers many topics, including

• Human-centered simulation/design

I encourage all researchers and professionals working in the field of building performance simulation to attend their future conference. For early-career researchers working on urban and building performance analysis, this should be your community.
